How to Pursue a Purposeful Life (Becoming hopeful in this dark world)

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

(Jeremiah 32:26-27 KJV).

God made all things beautiful, but the devil deceived the first creation through Eve. Because of that, the world has become a place of darkness. Wickedness prevails in different regions of the world. People face injustice. The poor becoming poorer and the rich becoming richer. We live in a world surrounded by good and evil people. If you desire to live a happy and fulfilled life, then you must understand these truths.

• The economist has a way (beliefs, knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy) of defining the world.
• The lawyer has a way (beliefs, knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy) of defining the world.
• The theologian has a way (beliefs, knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy) of defining the world.
• The doctor has a way (beliefs, knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy) of defining the world.
• The politician has a way (beliefs, knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy) of defining the world.

Every profession, tribe and religion has a way of defining the systems of the world. The greatest tragedy that can ever happen to a man is to only believe in the reality of the physical world and reject the operations of the invisible world. If you limit your mind to the system of this world and reject the existence of the spiritual and metaphysical world, you do yourself great harm.

The world you see with your physical eyes is not as you see. Don’t allow the books you have read; the theories and the philosophies of men limit you. There are things our physical mind cannot comprehend (See 1 Corinthians 2:9). You need another level of knowledge to connect with this divine wisdom.

The reason most people are confused in this world is that they only focus on material things. If you are ignorant of the spiritual activities that surround your community, family, workplace, and country, you may not go far in life. Know these truths.

• Whatever happens in this world has already happened in the spiritual realm.
• The discoveries and inventions the scientist and researcher’s releases in this world were already discovered in the spiritual realm.
• The cars, aeroplanes, ships, electricity, trains and other transport systems were already discovered in the spiritual realm.
• Before someone dies on this earth, it has already manifested in the spiritual realm.
• Before a marriage takes place on this earth, it has already taken place in the spiritual realm.
• Before a war takes place in countries and cities, it has already taken place in the spiritual realm.
• Before leaders take decisions to govern countries, churches, businesses, and organizations, it has already taken place in the spiritual realm.

Let us read from the Word.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

(Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 KJV).

It is our responsibility to take responsibility to enforce the will of God through prayers because God has given us our free will. God has delegated His power to us rule the activities on this earth and enforce His will on the earth (See Genesis 1:26-28). Failure to enforce the will of God will lead to destruction. I will briefly share with you fifteen wisdom keys that will help you find a purposeful and happy life in this world.

1. Must be born again

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth, not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

(1 Corinthians 2:12-16 KJV).

The first key to help you find a purposeful and happy life on this earth is to repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord of your life. When you repent and accept Jesus Christ into your life, He sends the Holy Spirit into your heart. When the Holy Spirit enters your life, He makes you understand the operation of the spiritual world. The Holy Spirit enlightens your soul and spirit to enable you to understand the reality of the Spirit world.

Those who are not born again (people who have not repented and accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord of their life) do not perfectly understand the reality of the spiritual world. The devil and demons have blinded the spiritual eyes and closed the spiritual ears of these people. Even those who can see the spiritual world are deceived by demons. Such people lack the truth. They operate only by their carnal desires. The things of the Spirit sound foolishness to people who are not born again.

If you want to find a purposeful and happy life on this earth, REPENT AND ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST into your heart. It is a faith step. Confess your sins and declare with your tongue and from your heart that I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour (See Romans 10:9-10). If you make these confessions, your spirit opens up to the Spirit of God. When your spirit opens up to the Spirit of God, your hope and faith become alive. When your faith becomes alive, you will not limit yourself to the dictates and wickedness of this world. You will live by faith and not by the news you hear if the Holy Spirit lives in your heart (See 2 Corinthians 5:7).

Most often, the news, videos, economic hardship, and environment can make your life miserable. You need the Holy Spirit to help you break the hopelessness of this world, and this can only happen if you are born again. I know there are Christians who are hopeless. Such Christians are not intimate with the Word and the Holy Spirit. I recommend you read my books.

2. See the Greatness of God.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

(Colossians 1:16 KJV).

Apostle Paul describes the nature of Jesus Christ to the church in Colossi. He makes us understand that Jesus Christ created all things. He created the earth, the angels of which some are principalities, thrones, and powers. He created the visible and invisible things. Jesus Christ created all things except evil.

This means every power bow to the name of Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ is the source of power and authourity, then we must feel secure under His leadership (regulated by the Holy Spirit). We call this the sovereignty of God. God in His power can intervene in our affairs when our strength and wisdom cannot tackle some issues. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

(Jeremiah 29:11 KJV).

3. Do the positive things you enjoy doing.

…How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?

(Luke 2:49 KJV).

Jesus Christ told His mother and family members that His Heavenly Father’s business (kingdom work) was the most important to do. Jesus Christ believed His divine purpose was more important than His earthly job. One of the best antidotes to break the hopelessness mindset is to love and pursue your divine purpose. Love and enjoy the positive things God created you to perform. When you embark on the positive things God created you to do, you will find no stress in it. Even if people don’t pay you, you still love to do it. Do you know why some people are lost in the wilderness (confused in the mind) and are without hope in this world? Below are some of the reasons.

• People are doing things they are not supposed to do because others are doing it.
• People are doing jobs they don’t love because of the money.
• People are doing certain things in life because they feel if they don’t do it the public will tag them as useless.
• People are doing certain things in life because they feel that if they do it, the public will tag them as significant.
• People are working in some places because their neighbors told them to do it.
• People are doing certain things in life because of their daily bread.
• People are doing dangerous business because of greediness.
• People are doing certain things in life because they want to prove to the world that they are the best.
• People are doing certain things in life because of peer and family pressure.

Loved one, if you are in one of these categories, you better search out for your purpose in life.
